O Glorious Saint Paul, after persecuting the Church you became by God’s grace its most zealous Apostle. Dear St. Paul, Apostle of the Gentiles, you dedicated your life to spreading the Gospel and proclaiming the love of Christ. To carry the knowledge of Jesus, our Divine Savior, to the uttermost parts of the earth, you joyfully endured prison, scourging, stoning, and shipwreck, as well as all manner of persecutions culminating in the shedding of the last drop of your blood for our Lord Jesus Christ. Obtain for us the grace to labour strenuously to bring the faith to others and to accept any trials and tribulations that may come our way. In times of difficulty, intercede for me, that I may find strength in Christ and wisdom in my decisions. Guide me to live a life of purpose, always seeking to serve others and grow in my relationship with God. Help us to be inspired by your Epistles and to partake of your indomitable love for Jesus, so that after we have finished our course, we may join you in praising Him in Heaven for all eternity.
Amen.
St. Paul the Apostle (c. 5–64 AD) is a powerful example of transformation, zeal, and evangelization. Once a persecutor of Christians, he encountered Christ and became one of the most passionate advocates of the faith. Through his letters and missionary journeys, St. Paul shared the message of God’s love and salvation, teaching resilience, courage, and commitment to God’s calling. His life encourages us to grow in faith, forgive one another, and dedicate ourselves to spreading the love of Christ within our families and communities. St. Paul’s journey reminds us that, no matter our past, God’s grace can transform us and lead us to live a life of purpose.
