Dear Saint Teresa of Calcutta, You who gave your life to serve the poorest of the poor, Help us to see the face of Christ in everyone we meet. Inspire us to act with kindness and compassion, And to spread love in our daily lives. May we find joy in serving others, And may our hearts be open to those in need. Guide us to be instruments of peace, And teach us to love without counting the cost.

St. Teresa of Calcutta, known as Mother Teresa (1910–1997), dedicated her life to serving the “poorest of the poor,” seeing Christ in everyone she encountered.
