St. Thomas Feast – Dukhrana Celebrations (July 4–7, 2025)

The Dukhrana celebrations at St. Thomas Forane Church, Jalahalli, were held from July 4th to 7th with deep spiritual devotion. The festivities began with the Flag Hoisting by Msgr. Sunny Kunnampadavil CMF, followed by Holy Qurbana and Ladeenu led by Rev. Fr. Asher Mathew Kochuparambil MSFS.

On July 5th, Rev. Fr. Sinoj Pattathil CMF led the evening service, which featured special intercessory prayers and a dramatization of St. Joseph’s life titled “Thachan.” The main celebration on July 6th included the blessing of the Presudenthi and a solemn Rasa Qurbana led by Rev. Fr. Mathew Keechira CMF, followed by a grand procession with Chendamelam and Bandmelam.

The final day, July 7th, concluded with Holy Qurbana and Oppesa at both cemeteries, offered for the departed. The four-day celebration honored St. Thomas with reverence, prayer, and joyful fellowship.
