St. George is one of the most venerated saints in Christianity, known for his unwavering faith and courage in the face of persecution. Often depicted as a soldier slaying a dragon, he symbolizes the triumph of good over evil and remains a powerful example of Christian heroism and devotion.

The feast of St. George was prayerfully celebrated on 4th May 2025 at St. Thomas Forane Church, Jalahalli during the 8:30 AM Holy Qurbana. A large number of faithful gathered to honor the great martyr and seek his intercession. After the Qurbana, Nercha (blessed food) was distributed everyone.
