One Heart, One Way - these four simple words define the charisma of STYF. Character building and personality development, rooted in Christian values, are the salient features of STYF. With respect to the youth of today, while there still remains the characteristic vibrancy; it is coupled with a lack of positive direction and a moral compass - leading them to seek out temporary outlets/momentary pleasures to fill the void within. The current emphasis on studies and work as an ultimate goal leaves them largely unprepared for life. When all appears to be achieved, they remain disconcerted, on the realization of the futility of it all. This is the area where the STYF steps in. While giving opportunities to express their selves, an emphasis on practical wisdom, socialisation and creativity is laid. Through this, the youth learn to care, accept and appreciate each other, and through each other, a common forum is formed where their voices can be heard and their concerns addressed, leading them to discover, through each other, humanity. The basic foundation of spiritual life is well laid during childhood. On this foundation, the STYF works to build up men and women of one heart, who through their actions, become true witnesses to Christ.
