STARS is an association started by a group of young parishioners under the leadership of then parish priest Rev. Fr. Abraham (Sojan) Karoor and inaugurated during the ‘ONAM’ celebrations in the year 2003. The able leadership of many parishioners took the association to better levels.
The main objectives of the STARS are:
1. To work for the development of Arts and Sports activities of the parish.
2. Support the needy in and around the Parish.
3. To conduct programmes for the recreational requirements of the parishioners
4. Improve the inter personnel interactions among Parishioners.
5. To take part and support all activities of the parish.
6. Conduct special talent search programmes for the catechism students.
7. Celebrate “Onam” the harvest festival of Kerala in the Parish.
STARS activities:
1. Fund raising programme for the Church Presbytery Construction.
2. Annual Sports Meet for the Parishioners.
3. CRIB competition for the parishioners.
4. Speech Competition for the Catechism students.
5. Drawing Competition for the Catechism Students.
6. Silver Jubilee Bible Quiz
7. Financial support for Medical, Education and United Xmas programmes.
Eligibility: Any member of the parish who is interested in arts, sports, recreation….. There is no age bar.
