Parish Annual Retreat: February 20th-23rd, 2025

The Annual Retreat at St. Thomas Forane Church, Jalahalli, from February 20 to 23, 2025, was a time of prayer, reflection, and renewal. Led by Rev. Fr. Jison Paul Vengassery, it deepened faith and embraced the Jubilee Year’s theme, “Pilgrims of Hope.”

St. Sebastian’s feast at St. Thomas Forane Church, Jalahalli (Jan 17-19, 2025), was a vibrant blend of faith and tradition, featuring solemn Holy Qurbanas, grand processions, and rich rituals, uniting the community in devotion.

Ending the year with gratitude and beginning the New Year with faith – a blessed celebration of Adoration and Holy Qurbana.

Christmas is a season of joy, love, and reflection on the birth of Jesus Christ. Creating a crib at home is a beautiful tradition that brings families together to honour the humble birth of our Saviour in Bethlehem. It serves as a reminder of God’s love and the importance of simplicity and faith in our lives.

STYF successfully hosted the 29th United Christmas Inter-Parish Carol Singing Competition. After two months of intensive preparation, the event took place on December 14, 2024, at the Parish Hall of St. Thomas Forane Church, Jalahalli, with 12 teams participating.

Thoma Cup -24, the third Edition of the Inter Parish Volley Ball match, which was started in 2022, in commemoration of the 1950th martyrdom of ST Thomas,  held on 8th December 2024 at ST Claret PU College Ground, Jalahalli

The Parish Day celebration is a much-anticipated event that brings the entire parish community together to share in faith, fellowship, and brotherhood.

The St. Thomas Parish Sports Competitions, organized under the leadership of Stars Pithruvedi, concluded with track and field events on November 10th, 2024. The Parish Vicar inaugurated the competitions, which included several events held across multiple days.
